San Antonio, Texas Is a Cultural Wonderland

San Antonio was originally named Yanguana which means refreshing waters, but this was way back in 1691.  It was later approved as a halfway mission in 1716, where it became the largest Spanish and Mexican area of Texas.  The Battle of Alamo stretched from 23 February to 6 March 1836 seeing the Texas forces losing, but in 1845 Texas became a US state, which started the Mexican-American War, SeaWorld which the US won.
